Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, my journey has taken unexpected turns. In my teenage years, I was dead set on becoming an automotive engine tuner – a calibrator, you know? I was pretty skilled at it and even kept it up as a hobby. Fast forward to the last ten years, and guess what? I never imagined I’d want to be a business owner, let alone think I’d be any good at it. Life’s full of surprises!
You know, when my dad kicked off this business back in ’02, we’d been working closely for about 14 to 15 years. So, Superior Door, for me, is more than just a business. It’s a lifestyle, an extension of who I am and who my dad is. Over the years, it’s become something more profound than what many people typically see in a business. It’s a lifestyle, a way we live, emphasizing quality and accountability. These aspects are crucial to me, not just as a business owner but as someone who is genuinely passionate about what we do.
Superior Door started as a family venture, and it remains a family business. It’s more than repairing and installing garage doors; it’s about embracing values like accountability, integrity, honesty, and an unwavering dedication to providing top-notch solutions. The camaraderie among our team members makes us more than colleagues – we’re a family, and every customer becomes a part of this extended family.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have two exceptional individuals on my team, and our history goes way back. These guys, both with extensive experience as general managers, have been part of my professional circle for 8 to 10 years. One of them has been contributing his skills to our cause for over three years now, while the other, having worked with me for about a year and a half, is approaching the two-year mark.
Their wealth of experience and competence, built over years in managerial roles, brings a level of expertise to Superior Door that sets us apart. It’s not just a professional connection; it’s a testament to the enduring relationships and the trust we’ve built over the years.
